How do I know Adelaide Stayz is legitimate?
We operate as an Australian business and keep the guest journey documented from enquiry to check-out. For extra reassurance, we accept PayPal on eligible bookings (PayPal terms apply).
Practical tip: keep communication in one thread (email/WhatsApp), and ensure the booking name matches the payer name.
Do you verify guests for safety?
Yes. For higher-value, last-minute, or higher-risk bookings, we may request government-issued photo ID and basic verification (name match, contact details). It protects both guests and property.
How do you protect guests from scam links?
We only send official links via our website and confirmed channels (email/WhatsApp). If a message feels off, pause and verify using the phone number on our Contact page.
Check-in & Arrival
Contactless access, timing, and what happens after payment is confirmed.
Contactless check-in — how do I get the smart key code?
We use a contactless smart-access system. Your entry instructions and key code are sent after payment is confirmed (and any required verification is completed).
Your code is property-specific. Please don’t share it publicly or forward it outside your booking group.
Standard check-in / check-out times
Check-in: from 2:00 PM
Check-out: by 10:00 AM (strict, to allow professional cleaning).
Early check-in / late check-out — can I request it?
We can consider it when scheduling allows. Message us on WhatsApp with your arrival/departure time.
We confirm in writing. If it’s not confirmed, assume standard times.
North Adelaide Townhouse — access & parking notes
North Adelaide includes secure on-site parking (private garage). Property-specific access steps and the smart key code are sent after payment is confirmed.
If you’re arriving late, no problem — contactless access is designed for smooth after-hours arrivals.
Glenelg — access notes
Glenelg access is also fully contactless. Your entry instructions and code are sent after payment is confirmed.
Because buildings differ, please follow the Glenelg-specific instructions exactly (we keep it step-by-step).
The Apartment
Comfort, amenities, practical details.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes — complimentary Wi-Fi is included. Login details are provided after booking/check-in instructions.
Are there laundry facilities?
Yes. Laundry is available in the building and is coin-operated.
Washing machine: $5 • Dryer: $5
Tip: please bring coins.
Do you provide cot / high chair?
We welcome families; however, cots and high chairs are not provided. Please BYO if travelling with infants.
House Rules
Quiet homes. Clear boundaries. Consistent standards.
What is the maximum number of guests?
Standard rate covers up to 4 guests. Maximum is 6 guests. Extra guest fee may apply for the 5th and 6th guests.
Parties / events?
No. We operate a strict zero-tolerance policy for parties and events. Unregistered guests, excessive noise, or disturbances can result in eviction without refund.
Smoking & pets?
Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. Pets are not permitted unless explicitly approved in writing prior to arrival.
Payments
Secure payment, ID matching, and Pay in 4 clarity.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept debit/credit cards (Visa / Mastercard / Amex) and PayPal.
Cash payments are not accepted under any circumstances.
PayPal “Pay in 4” — how does it work?
For eligible bookings, PayPal may offer the option to split your total into 4 interest-free payments. Availability is shown at checkout, and eligibility/approval is confirmed by PayPal.
Important: Adelaide Stayz cannot manually “turn on” Pay in 4 for a specific guest — it’s determined by PayPal’s assessment.
Do you require ID / name matching?
Yes. We may request government-issued photo ID, and the name should match the booking and payment method. It’s a simple step that protects both guests and property.
Is a security bond required?
A security bond may be pre-authorised before arrival. It is released after check-out if there is no damage or excessive cleaning required.
Longer Stays
2+ months enquiries — best rate, clean process.
Do you offer monthly / 2+ month stays?
Yes — for stays of 2 months or more, we can quote a tailored rate based on dates, seasonality, and availability.
Send us: dates + number of guests + purpose (work/relocation) — we’ll reply with a precise quote.
What’s different for longer stays?
Longer stays are handled more like a “quiet living arrangement” than a short holiday booking: expectations are clearer (utilities, cleaning rhythm, and support routing).
If anything needs human confirmation (availability, special requests), we confirm quickly in writing.
How do I request a longer-stay quote?
Use the Contact page or WhatsApp with your date range and guest count. We’ll respond with the best available rate for that exact window.
